They are a multidisciplinary artist who frequently works with collage, drawing, painting, video and text.

Artist Statement
I draw when my mind is full and I paint when I’m ready to feel the thoughts and let them exist on their own.
Symbolism is very important to my work, as it serves to simplify complex narratives and turn them into ambiguous, thought-provoking scenes. The characters are genderless, and I often use inanimate objects or animals to convey feelings tied to the human existence, helping me to find beauty in terrible situations.
Maintaining a sense of mystery is essential to the work, as it invites multiple interpretations and various perspectives towards it, with hope that it evokes questions of inner reflection, a comfortable discomfort and a mystical, otherworldly feeling.
Using acrylic paint allows me to achieve a fast and spontaneous process that isn’t interrupted by waiting for the paint to dry, believing that delay would alter both the painting’s outcome and its purpose.
The collages emerge when I’m unsure of what I need to express. Clarity often arrives once the narrative takes form through a few cuts of old magazines. An unconscious practice that happens without planning, allowing the unexpected to come to life.
